Born in Miami, Florida, and raised in the Bahamas, Dr. Turnquest completed undergraduate studies at the University of the Bahamas and Florida Memorial University. She earned her medical degree at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, followed by a residency at Brown University/Kent Hospital and a fellowship in family medicine and obstetrics at Christ Community Health Services in Memphis, Tennessee.

Dr. Turnquest has a strong passion for women’s health. She provides prenatal, vaginal delivery and cesarean delivery care, in addition to her full-spectrum family medicine clinic.
