Deewan Bulchandani, M.D., has joined the medical team caring for patients in the AltaPointe Health psychiatric hospital system. He earned his medical degree from Trinity School of Medicine, where he graduated in the upper quartile of his class and was recognized on the Dean’s and Chancellor’s lists. He also earned a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Mississippi Medical Center and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Sciences from the University of Mississippi.

Dr. Bulchandani completed his psychiatry residency at Mississippi State Hospital, where he was recognized for clinical and academic excellence, including the Top Flight Resident of the Year Award and a PRITE score in the 93rd percentile nationally. He has also served as an adjunct professor of psychiatry at William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine, teaching and mentoring medical students and resident physicians.

Dr. Bulchandani has a strong interest in advancing mental health care through clinical research and education. He is dedicated to providing thoughtful, compassionate psychiatric care and helping patients achieve improved mental health and well-being.
