Outpatient treatment focuses on recovery, problem resolution, symptom reduction, stabilization and/or prevention of movement to a higher level of care. Treatment is highly variable and depends upon the patient’s presenting symptoms. AltaPointe’s practice guidelines are based on psychiatric rehabilitation principles and also may include but not be limited to supportive therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, behavior modification and skills building.
