Debra Gardner, M.D., earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Brown University (Providence, Rhode Island), and her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine (Boston, Massachusetts), where she received the New England Pediatric Society Prize for exemplifying the qualities of an outstanding pediatrician.

In 1992, Dr. Gardner completed her pediatric internship and residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Bronx, New York). She is board certified in pediatrics and has more than 34 years of experience caring for infants, children and adolescents. For 29 years, she practiced with Infirmary Pediatrics, where she also served in several leadership roles, including president. She has served as a clinical assistant/adjunct professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of South Alabama since 1996.

In 2026, Dr. Gardner joined Accordia Health, bringing her extensive pediatric experience and commitment to personalized care to infants, children and teens. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and has been actively involved in medical and community organizations throughout her career. Dr. Gardner is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care.
