Julie Bernstein, DO, joined AltaPointe Health in 2016 after earning her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed a psychiatric residency at the University of South Alabama (USA). Bernstein graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and biology from Shawnee State University in 2006. While at USA Bernstein had the opportunity to serve as chief resident to the General Psychiatry program and was invited to stay on as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellow. She took part in policy development as the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program Evaluation Committee resident representative. Upon successful completion of her residency, Bernstein became a diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
