Elizabeth Shirk, PMHNP, joined AltaPointe Health in 2022. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Chamberlain University in Atlanta, Georgia, and was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She earned a master’s degree in nursing with a concentration in Psychiatric Mental Health from Herzing University, also located in Atlanta, Georgia. Shirk is board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She is an active American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Neuroscience Education Institute (NEI) member. She has worked in healthcare for many years but has spent the last four years devoted to mental health.
