Intensive Day Treatment

Intensive Day Treatment is prescribed for patients requiring illness education, medication education and effective coping skills development. Held four hours per day, five days per week, patients also receive training in basic living skills; cooking classes, shopping, basic personal hygiene, and accessing community resources designed to benefit them. The goal of this instruction is to help the patient manage their illness and live more independently.

Intensive Day Treatment takes place Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. Participants must attend at least three days a week.
