In-Home Family Intervention Program
When a child is in emotional turmoil, effective intervention can defuse a crisis, stabilize the family and prevent the child from being removed from the home. This 12-week, home-based counseling approach provides intensive, family therapy designed to resolve the immediate conflict and provide tools to prevent future crises.
Each AltaPointe In-Home Family Intervention Team consists of a master’s level therapist and a bachelor’s level co-therapist who work with families of children ages 5 to 17. The team provides both therapeutic and case management services. This service is available in Baldwin, Clay and Mobile counties. In addition, AltaPointe provides a specialized team that serves transitional-age youth ages 17 to 25 in Mobile.
