Maria Hamilton, M.D., graduated from Spring Hill College Cum Laude with an honors degree in biology. She attended and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of South Alabama, College of Medicine. Hamilton completed her residency training and fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry from USA as well. During her residency, she received the Narahari Award, an award given to the student who achieves the top score on the PRITE. She is board-certified in child/adolescent psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Hamilton began working at AltaPointe Health during her fellowship training and has officially joined the medical team full-time in summer 2018.
