 Hospital Consultation Services include psychiatric consultations for eligible consumers hospitalized on a medical unit and consultations for a psychiatric unit when the medical examination or medical consult is part of the psychiatric evaluation. An AltaPointe psychiatrist coordinates the efforts of physical, occupational and speech therapists, and professionals in related disciplines, to promote and maximize each patient’s functional independence.
